Job description Beef & Bass is looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Chelsea, Kings Road.
Beef & Bass is a premium restaurant focused on charcoal cooking, aged premium beef and wild seabass , using high-quality ingredients and a modern approach to cooking.
We are looking for a strong Sous Chef take responsibility during service and help maintain consistently high standards across the kitchen.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and organise the kitchen team during service
Ensure consistently high standards of food preparation and presentation
Manage prep, ordering, stock control and minimise food waste
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
Train and support junior members of the kitchen team
What we are looking for:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a quality restaurant
Strong organisation and leadership skills
A genuine passion for high-quality ingredients and cooking
Charcoal grill and/or premium meat and fish experience would be an advantage
Reliable, professional and able to remain calm during busy services
Good communication and teamwork skills
