Section Engineer

Job Description

Our client is a major tier 1 contractor delivering works on a flagship HS2 project in North West London. They are seeking a Section Engineer to support the delivery of the Utilities & Highways Package

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of highways, utilities and civil engineering works.
  • Manage setting out, quality assurance and technical compliance on site.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
  • Review and produce engineering documentation including RAMS, ITPs and permits.
  • Liaise with design teams to resolve technical queries and construction challenges.
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with project specifications and standards.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Section Engineer on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong background in highways, utilities, drainage or heavy civils.
  • Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or major infrastructure project.
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts is desirable.
  • Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
