The Company you will be working for;
Our client is a highly successful, well established engineering services company based in Tyne and Wear. They have been in existence for over 30 years anddemand for their services is still growing. The successful applicant will work within a busy engineering office, where they will be expected to take client enquires from concept through to full electrical design as well as being involved with the overseeing of project build, installation, and commissioning. They would report to the engineering director. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.
The Role you will be doing;
Arranging meetings and liaising with the customer on their requirements.
Attend site to survey projects and gather information (UK Driving License Required).
Design of Electrical Panel Layouts.
Design of Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
Production of Bill of Materials.
Electrical Interface Design including Cable Schedules, Termination details, Cable Layout Diagrams.
Development of PLC Software.
Commissioning electrical panels and control systems including software interrogation.
Weekend work where necessary / project dependant.
The successful applicant will report to the engineering director and be expected to deal directly with clients and suppliers.
About you;
Minimum HNC in an appropriate Engineering discipline.
Experience in a design capacity of Electrical Protection Design.
Experience of Mitsubishi PLC, Omron PLC, Siemens PLC.
Communication with Clients/sub-contractors/suppliers.
Experience of Panel Function Testing.
Managing the workload of multiple jobs simultaneously ensuring completion to key dates.
A good understanding of Document Management and Control.
The company uses EPLAN as the primary design package and experience is preferable but not essential (training will be provided).
Driving License is required.
