Catering Assistant

Working for an award-winning logistics business who offer tailor-made, fast, reliable and cost-effective shipping solutions.
You are required to work 30 hours per week on a three-on-three off rota system, covering days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays, alternating mornings and afternoons.
06:00 to 14:30 and 14:15 to 23:00 Monday to Saturday
08:00 to 14:30 and 14:15 to 22:00 Sundays
General duties to include:
Welcoming customers and taking/serving orders with food and alcohol as appropriate
Maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere and promote the restaurant with excellent customer service
Managing the till float and cashing up
Ensuring that hygiene practices, processes and rules are followed at all times, including daily, weekly and deep cleaning schedules of the restaurant areas
Actively upselling products to offer customers choice and increase profitability
Assisting with the restaurant opening and closing procedures and practices
Ensure quality, uniformity and consistency are delivered to the customers
