Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the drafting of wills and LPAs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and client wishes.
Support the probate process, including the preparation of applications for grants of representation and estate administration.
Conduct legal research and provide summaries on relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records.
Liaise with clients, providing them with updates and answering queries in a professional manner.
Prepare legal correspondence and documents for review by solicitors.
Coordinate with other departments and external parties as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
Previous experience in a paralegal role, preferably within a Private Client department.
Knowledge of wills, probate, and LPA procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
