Job Description

Python/Qt Engineer (GUI) - London - £150k base + bonus

We’re working with a high-performing, technology-driven trading firm building mission-critical front office tools used directly by traders in fast-moving markets. They’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer with Qt expertise to help design and deliver the next generation of real-time trading interfaces.

This is a rare opportunity to sit close to the desk, owning the GUI layer of a live trading environment where performance, usability, and speed of iteration directly impact PnL.

What you’ll do

Build high-performance desktop GUI applications used by traders in real time
Design intuitive, responsive interfaces for complex trading workflows
Work directly with front office users to iterate rapidly on features
Drive performance and usability improvements in latency-sensitive systems

What they're looking for

Hands-on Qt experience (PyQt, PySide, QML or Qt Widgets)
Comfortable working in Linux environments
