Job Description

Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer
Peterborough & Northampton Area

£38,000 - £42,000 DOE
Excellent Benefits Package
Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes
Company van provided, including personal use
Company credit card
23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 days after 5 years' service
Call-out rota: 1 week in 7
Standby allowance: £160 per week

Overtime available after 40 hours, paid at time and a half, with double time available on weekends

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and well-established Fire & Security company with an outstanding reputation built on decades of industry expertise. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are looking to add an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to their team.

The Role
As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems across a range of commercial properties throughout the Peterborough and Northampton region.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and fault-find on a variety of fire alarm systems
Work with industry-leading manufacturers including Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and Apollo
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with relevant regulations
Deliver excellent customer service and technical support to clients
Accurately complete service documentation and reports
Requirements
Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
Good working knowledge of systems such as Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and Apollo
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK Driving Licence
