Cloud BookkeeperAn established and growing accountancy practice based in Crosshills (near Skipton and Ilkley) is seeking an experienced Cloud Bookkeeper to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who can quickly integrate into a busy environment and make an immediate impact.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of small business clients within the expanding cloud accounting department, while also supporting senior team members with accounts preparation.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing the receipt and processing of financial data using cloud-based accounting
systemsCommunicating with clients via telephone and email as requiredPreparing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on timeOrganizing and prioritising workloads effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environmentSupporting senior accountants with bookkeeping entries through to trial balanceAssisting, where appropriate, with the preparation of management accounts and other accounting tasks as directedThe role would suit a proactive team player with strong attention to detail and a willingness to support colleagues across the department.
Requirements:Solid experience in accounts preparation for a variety of business types, including sole traders, limited companies, and
partnershipsWorking knowledge of accounting software, particularly Sage, Xero, and QuickBooksAbility to produce accurate and high-quality accountsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and work under pressureSelf-motivated with the ability to use
initiativeExcellent communication skills and keen attention to detail
Additional Information:Full-time position (9:00am 5:00pm), office-based
Salary: £28,000 £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)23 days annual leaveCompany pension scheme
