Rate/Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 Basic + Overtime (OTE £50,000+)

The below job description will outline this position of: Fire & Security Engineer

Typically, this person will be an experienced Fire & Security Engineer with a strong background in electronic security systems, particularly CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for a 50/50 split between installation and service work, covering commercial and potentially high-profile client sites across the Slough and surrounding areas.

Duties and responsibilities of the Fire & Security Engineer will be:

- Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding of electronic security systems.

- Install, commission and maintain Hikvision CCTV systems.

- Install, service and fault-find on intruder alarm systems .

- Install, maintain and configure Paxton access control systems.

- Work on telecoms and associated security systems as required.

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service visits.

- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to ensure systems remain fully operational.

- Complete system commissioning, testing and handover to customers.

- Complete service reports, installation documentation and relevant paperwork accurately.

- Liaise professionally with customers and provide a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications and requirements for the Fire & Security Engineer :

- Previous experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer, Security Systems Engineer or similar.

- Strong hands-on experience with CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems.

- Experience with Hikvision CCTV would be highly advantageous.
