As a Business Analyst within the 'Cheetah' Discovery Workstream at Brown & Brown, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive business analysis activities under the guidance of the Discovery Workstream Lead. You will collaborate closely with Brown & Brown businesses, Managed Shared Service providers (such as Brown & Brown US), and incumbent IT service providers.
The day to day:
Analyse existing Brown and Brown entity Discovery Data and facilitate the collection and management of new data from technical teams, workstream leads, and technical suppliers.
Ensure the scope encompasses all entities relevant to the Cheetah programme.
Support discovery activities across both technical and non-technical touchpoints.
Populate Discovery questionnaires using existing data sources, with input from technical and program teams, for selected/agreed Brown and Brown Group legal entities.
Identify, address, and resolve any missing information promptly.
Deliver completed questionnaires to relevant teams/recipients in a timely manner.
Create business requirements documentation tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Coordinate Teams calls between various stakeholders, including Brown & Brown US, Brown and Brown Europe UK teams, incumbent Managed Service Providers, and entity stakeholders.
Ensure the currency of collected data is maintained.
Manage scheduling, communication, and contact information across a complex matrix of internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the role entails providing Business Analysis support across the Integrations Programme, requiring flexibility to adapt to the evolving demands of the Programme. You will be expected to support:
The Business Migrations workstream
The Service Management (Service Transition) Workstream
The Decommissioning Workstream
occasional attendance at Brown and Brown offices as necessary.
Travel across numerous UK sites may be required approximately 2 to 3 days per week.
About you:
Given the fast-paced nature of the Programme and wider environment, a strong 'can do attitude' and the ability to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels are essential attributes for success in this role.
Insurance experience (Retail Broking/London markets a plus)
Experience of M&A and/or Migrations (Data migrations and M365 a bonus)
Business process improvement background
Service Transition and Operational readiness exposure
