Mechanical Supervisor Central London: £32.00 - £35.00 per hour 2-Year Project An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading MEP contractor delivering a £100 million, 5-star luxury hotel development in Central London . This landmark scheme will involve the installation of complex mechanical services within a high-end hospitality environment, requiring exceptional standards of quality, coordination, and programme delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising site activities and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest specification. The Role Reporting to the Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for: Supervising mechanical installation works on site Managing mechanical subcontractors and direct labour teams Monitoring progress against programme requirements Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times Coordinating works with other trades and project stakeholders Conducting quality inspections and snagging activities Managing materials, labour resources, and daily site operations Attending site meetings and reporting progress to the project team Ensuring installations are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and industry standards Requirements Proven experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor on large-scale MEP construction projects Strong background supervising commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, or high-end residential developments Previous experience on 5-star hotel projects, luxury developments, or similarly complex schemes would be highly advantageous Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong understanding of health & safety regulations SSSTS or SMSTS qualification preferred Relevant mechanical trade background and qualifications What's on Offer? £32.00 - £35.00 per hour 2-year secured project Opportunity to work on a landmark £100m luxury hotel development Long-term pipeline of work with a reputable MEP contractor Prestigious Central London location Excellent project team and career development prospects If interested, please APPLY or call me James Grant at Hampshire Recuitment Group TPBN1_UKTJ
