About the Role of Marketing Manager You will be responsible for driving revenue through the delivery of the agreed marketing strategy and activity plan for the hotel. This includes all areas of the estate - rooms, food and beverage, spa. You will manage partnerships and all marketing communications, marketing collateral, advertising, promotional activities online and offline.
Marketing Manager Principal Accountabilities:
Working with the hotel General Manager and Director of sales you will together plan, manage, develop, and implement the marketing strategy to ensure the hotels facilities and services are marketed according to agreed budgeted guidelines and coverage and brand awareness are maximised.
Copy writing, creation and production of onsite print and digital communications.
To ensure that the hotel reputation is maintained through communication with team, guests and target audiences and responding to online feedback on review sites and social media platforms, establishing trust and marketing our site on other websites and social media.
Support all areas of the hotel for pushing promotions and supporting peaks and troughs of the business Hotel rooms, spa, golf meetings & events, weddings and food and drink outlets.
Providing quality content on the website, regularly adding new content, working in conjunction with the hotels third party Digital Agency to ensure: search engine optimisation, well-organised content, user-friendly site, effective calls to action and increased conversion rate.
Develop and deliver a full social media strategy and ensure daily postings across all social media channels & have an active social media programme to support any website content, promotions, and reputation management.
Deliver innovate email e-newsletters campaigns to increase loyalty, improve conversion, drive database growth and increasing traffic/awareness.
To manage all PR activity including press trips, bloggers, journalists visits, photography shoots and promotional activity.
Support sales, events, reservations, to ensure revenue objectives are met know and understand how these departments operate.
Competitor Research.
Hospitality or marketing-related experience or equivalent professional qualification.
Creative, innovative mind-set and positive and very proactive approach.
Ability to conceptualise and execute projects, strong project management skills.
Strong IT skills; experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud and website CMS platforms including WordPress; understanding web metrics and how to gauge results.
Experience executing online campaigns; web design skills.
