OverviewSoftware Development Lead/Manager (C#/.Net) - Sheffield - New Role! (REF36). A market leading organisation in the healthtech space requires a Software Development Lead/Manager to join its growing and successful team.Suitable candidates will have the following experience:Strong commercial experience in software development using C# .NET, coupled with circa 2 years experience in a leadership/management role.Experience leading technical decisions.Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Comfortable with Git version control.Process driven.Flexible approach and positive attitude.Experience with at least two of the following: ORM (NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.), SQL Server or other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), DevExpress components (Desirable), Familiar with developer tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence.

ResponsibilitiesLeading two software development teams and helping to drive projects forward.Managing and mentoring software developers.Setting and maintaining architectural standards.Writing and reviewing code.Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.Collaborating with cross-functional teams.Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and supporting product user groups).

QualificationsMid-Senior level experience in software development leadership.
