Job Description

Are you looking for a hands-on role within a clean, quality-focused manufacturing environment?

Do you have experience in production, assembly or machine operation and enjoy working to high standards with strong attention to detail?

We’re supporting a manufacturing company in New Milton who are looking to recruit a Cleanroom Production Operative to join their production team on a day shift.

What’s the role all about?

This is a production-based role working within a cleanroom environment, supporting manufacturing activities to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll be involved in a range of duties including machine operation, assembly, inspection and following strict cleanroom procedures.

Due to the nature of the environment, all staff must adhere to strict contamination control standards including:

* No mobile phones in the cleanroom

* No makeup

* No jewellery or piercings

* Full compliance with gowning and hygiene procedures

Key responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently

* Carry out visual inspections and quality checks on products

* Follow SOPs, work instructions and cleanroom procedures accurately

* Assemble and handle small precision components

* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and contamination control

* Record production information accurately using systems or paperwork

* Work towards production targets without compromising quality

* Support continuous improvement and team objectives

* Maintain a safe and organised working environment

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

* Experience within a production, manufacturing or assembly environment

* Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects

* Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions

* Good manual dexterity and confidence handling small components

* Experience operating machinery or production equipment

* Understanding of quality standards and inspection processes

* Good communication and teamwork skills

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn

* 4.5 day working week
