Salary Range -£75,000 - £82,000 Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

Leonardo is hiring talented Project Engineering Managers (PEMs) .

You will join an engineering team on a permanent basis to cover an exciting and growing Integrated Project Team (IPT).

The PEM role provides the engineering leadership and management in collaboration with the Chief Engineer and Senior Engineering Manager, to identify, develop, deliver and support the technical solution. This role offers a hybrid working opportunity.

What youll do as an Engineering Manager:

As a PEM you will be responsible for development, maintenance and enhancements of a Product line.

This includes, but not limited to, owning, developing and executing the strategy required to enable the Product to meet the Sector long term Business Plan in line with the Product Maturity & Capability Roadmap, Production Needs and Support requirements.

Typical day to day tasks include:

Leading the Engineering aspects of the Project, ensuring technical quality, schedule and budget.

Management of cross-site, multi-disciplined engineering teams, ensuring that roles within the teams are clearly defined.

Creating a positive working relationship with customers and partners, to deliver project capability.

Establishing and maintaining good lines of communication internally across the Engineering IPT, with the IPT lead, Project Manager and Functional Heads.
