Job Description

Package Description: Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and deliver positive person centred outcomes for people with complex support needs who rely on our services. You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs.

Where youll be working :

Sileby, Leicestershire

This is a unique service within Sileby, Leicestershire supporting 9 people, where we offer supportive living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community.

We are looking for Support workers to join our amazing team, and to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

What is required from you?

A minimum of 12 months on your right to work

A full UK drivers licence

As part of your day to day work you will be offering the following;

Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicating - effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
