Class 1 Driver

Staffline is currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious client based in Bradford, BD5.

Various shift patterns available - Sunday-Thursday, Tuesday - Saturday, Monday-Friday, Weekends
Shift flexibility

11 hour guarantee for weekend shifts Friday - Monday!

PAYE rates as below:
Days 05:45 - 18:00 - £19.50 Per Hour
Nights 18:00 - 05:45 - £21.77 Per Hour
O/T Days (After 8 hours daily) - £29.25 Per Hour
O/T Nights (After 8 hours daily) - £31.52 Per Hour
Bank Holidays - £58.20 Per Hour

Your Time at Work

The role mainly consists of Class 1 Store Deliveries and Trunking Operations:

- Transporting goods to various locations across the UK.
- Guarantee punctual and secure delivery of products, while strictly following traffic and safety protocols. - Cooperate with the logistics team to organise deliveries and achieve deadlines with effectiveness.
- Accurately document deliveries and fulfil essential paperwork obligations.

Our Perfect Worker

Requirements:

- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with 2 years relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.
- No more than 6 points on the license.
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsement codes.
- Able to undertake trunking and store deliveries, including tail lift operations.
- Able to pull double deck trailers.
