Principal Electronics & Software Engineer | Cambridge | £55-75k DOE | Hybrid

My client is developing advanced deep tech solutions and has an opportunity to join as a Principal Electronics & Software Engineer on their experienced team

Overview
You'll be joining a truly multidisciplinary team with no shortage of projects working on highly complex engineering challenges.

The role will focus on advanced R&D solving real-world problems, and involve some mentorship of top junior and undergrad engineers.

Your responsibilities
Work as part of the R&D team on client assignments in multi-disciplinary projects
Design and implement systems for deep tech applications & products
Take advantage of opportunities to develop your technical design skills for analogue and digital hardware, information engineering, embedded software, control, communications and whole product design
Interact with stakeholders, both technical & non-technical to discuss ongoing projects & requirements

About you
Were looking for applicants with the following experience or skills:
An 2:1 or above degree, or PhD in a relevant discipline
Prior industrial experience in at least one of the following areas, and enthusiasm for learning about the others:
Software implementation in C, C++, Rust, or a similar programming language
PCB design
Digital electronics (processors, memory, DSP, Verilog, VHDL)
Analogue electronics (general, interfaces, RF, power)
