This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in estimating, sales administration, order processing or a technical/construction environment who enjoys a varied role combining customer enquiries, quotations, purchasing, project administration and costing.

You don't necessarily need previous estimating experience. If you're commercially minded, confident with numbers and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, full training can be provided.

The Role

Working closely with customers, suppliers, the sales team and wider business, you'll be responsible for:

  • Obtaining prices and quotations from suppliers

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

  • Organising and coordinating customer deliveries

  • Processing job costing information

  • Recording stock movements and maintaining accurate records

  • Purchasing materials and consumables to support production and project requirements

  • Supporting invoicing and credit control when required

  • Keeping CRM and project records accurate and up to date

  • Assisting with the coordination of machine servicing and maintenance

  • Producing reports and providing general support to the management team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Confident working with numbers and pricing

  • A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills

  • Comfortable managing multiple enquiries and priorities

  • Experienced using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

  • Commercially aware and confident liaising with customers and suppliers

Previous experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering, estimating, sales administration or a technical environment would be highly advantageous.

The ability to understand technical or architectural drawings would also be beneficial, but isn't essential.

What's On Offer?

  • 30,000 - 35,000 salary DOE

  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

  • Christmas shutdown

  • Generous pension scheme

  • Private healthcare

  • Discretionary annual bonus

  • Supported training and development

  • Genuine opportunities for progression within a growing business

If you have experience in estimating, sales administration, construction or a technical environment and you're looking for a varied position with plenty of opportunity to develop, we'd love to hear from you.
