Machine Operator
Marden, Kent
Monday to Friday 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch
£34,281 per annum
A growing and innovative manufacturing business is looking for an
experienced Machine Operator to join its production team. If
you’re hands-on, mechanically minded and enjoy keeping machinery
running smoothly, this could be a great next step.
The Role
* Set up and operate machinery
* Monitor line performance and production output
* Carry out routine maintenance and machine adjustments
* Troubleshoot issues and minimise downtime
* Complete quality checks and production records
About You
We’re looking for someone with recent hands-on experience
operating semi-automated machinery, ideally within manufacturing
or production.
You’ll be:
* Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills
* Confident working independently and to SOPs
* Safety and quality focused
* A good communicator and team player
* Keen to learn and develop
* Lean/Continuous Improvement experience is desirable
