Job Description

Broster Buchanan are working with a market leading manufacturing organisation, based near Gloucester, to appoint a hands on and commercially minded Financial Controller.

As Financial Controller you will take ownership of the day-to-day reporting and support the wider business with accurate reporting, business partnering and commercial insight.

Key responsibilities will include:

Oversee the end-to-end production of accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and KPIs
Lead the annual budgeting process and deliver robust, rolling financial forecasts
Provide operational business performance improvement through the delivery of insightful financial reporting and business insight
Ensure statutory compliance, managing the year-end audit process
Partnered with business to build a data-driven standard costing model for market, customer profitability

The successful candidate will be ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified or equivalent with strong reporting and business partnering skills within a manufacturing or operational environment. Excellent communication skills are essential as there is a requirement to work closely with multiple senior stakeholders.
