The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximising cash collection and maintaining minimal aged debt. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both the sales team and customers to manage sales ledger accounts and ensure efficient credit control processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively chase accounts by telephone and email to maximise cash collection.
Manage sales ledger accounts and ensure accurate recording of all communications using a bespoke collections system.
Conduct weekly collections forecasting and risk analysis.
Maintain regular liaison with the sales team to resolve issues and improve processes.
Engage in problem-solving and perform complex reconciliations.
Work towards and understand given targets, monitoring overtrading and managing credit limits.
Provide holiday cover for team members and support the team with various duties as requested by the line manager.
Log queries, handle banking tasks, and release orders in a timely manner.
Raise credit notes and manage related documentation.
