This is an excellent opportunity if you are approachable and professional with empathy and understanding for the needs of our students. You will be encouraged and supported to further develop your skills and knowledge by undertaking regular CPD opportunities. All Teachers with QTS may be asked to take on leadership of a subject and this will be discussed on an individual basis at interview.

St Josephs is a registered charitable trust comprising specialist school, college and registered childrens home working with vulnerable children and young people with complex needs and two supported living houses for young adults. Our 70+ students are aged 5 to 19 years old with complex learning disabilities and severe social communication and behavioural issues, many with autism.

All our staff need compassion and empathy and the drive to make a real difference to the lives of our young people. If you are recruited, you will be required to complete Team Teach positive behaviour support training as part of your induction before employment. Physical and mental resilience are essential qualities in all our employees.
