5 Tonne Counterbalance FLT Driver Location: Bedfordshire Pay: £15.00 per hour Overtime: £20.90 per hour Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 18:00 Job Type: Full-time We are currently recruiting for an experienced 5 Tonne Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy concrete manufacturing and production site in Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for a consistent Monday to Thursday role, competitive pay and regular overtime opportunities. The Role As a 5 Tonne Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and finished products around the site. Your duties will include: Operating a 5 tonne counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently. Loading and unloading vehicles and deliveries. Moving concrete products, materials and stock around the yard and site. Loading finished products onto vehicles for delivery. Safely stacking and positioning heavy materials and products. Supporting the production and yard teams with general duties. Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any defects. Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment. Following all site health and safety procedures. Working overtime when required. About You The successful candidate will have: A valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence. Previous experience operating a 5 tonne forklift or larger counterbalance truck. Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, concrete, construction or yard environment. Experience handling heavy materials or products. A strong understanding of health and safety procedures. A reliable and responsible approach to work. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
