An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Executive Head Chef to lead the culinary operation of one of the Mediterranean's most stylish luxury resorts.
This is a substantial and diverse food operation encompassing multiple restaurants and dining concepts, all-day dining, destination restaurants, poolside dining, room service, private dining and events.
We are looking for an Executive Head Chef who combines strong culinary credentials with the leadership and commercial skills required to run a complex luxury resort kitchen operation.
The successful Executive Head Chef will take complete responsibility for the culinary direction of the resort, developing menus and concepts while ensuring consistently high standards across every outlet.
As Executive Head Chef you will:
* Lead, inspire and develop a large, multicultural brigade.
* Oversee several distinctive restaurant concepts and kitchens.
* Drive food quality, consistency and presentation across the resort.
* Champion fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce.
* Develop contemporary menus with a strong Mediterranean influence alongside international concepts.
* Maintain excellent food cost, labour and purchasing controls.
* Work closely with F&B, operations and senior management to continually develop the resort's dining proposition.
* Recruit, train and retain a high-performing culinary team.
* Ensure the highest standards of food safety, kitchen organisation and operational discipline.
* Bring creativity and new ideas while respecting the character and identity of each restaurant.
The Executive Head Chef
We are particularly interested in speaking with Executive Head Chefs currently working within luxury 5-star hotels or high-end international resorts.
You will need proven experience managing a sizeable multi-outlet culinary operation and, importantly, must be as strong operationally and commercially as you are creatively.
Experience gained within leading Mediterranean, European, Middle Eastern or international luxury resorts would be highly advantageous.
You should be comfortable operating in a seasonal resort environment, managing significant changes in volume while maintaining exceptional standards throughout.
This would suit an Executive Head Chef who enjoys being visible within the operation, developing chefs and creating memorable dining experiences rather than simply managing the kitchen from an office.
For an ambitious Executive Head Chef, this represents an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for a high-profile culinary operation within an established luxury resort.
A highly competitive international package and benefits are available for the successful candidate.
