Project Engineer

Our client is a modular construction business that develops structures which are used worldwide for infrastructure, industry, defence and emergency situations. Their engineering team translates complex technical challenges into safe, practical solutions — from concept and 3D modelling through to production and site installation. As a Project Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on international bridge projects. You will manage the engineering process, monitor technical quality and translate customer requirements into safe, practical solutions. You will work closely with CAD Engineers, Structural Engineers and production partners and will be involved in projects from quotation through to completion.For this role our client is seeking a Project Engineer who can supply leadership and innovation. Your responsibilities will include:Providing technical advice for quotations, tenders and procurement processesAssessing technical feasibility, risks and execution methodsManaging internal and external engineering partnersMonitoring engineering schedules, technical quality and project documentationCoordinating with project management, production, procurement and assembly teamsOur client is looking for:A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable discipline;Previous experience in steel construction or civil engineeringExperience managing multidisciplinary engineering teamsKnowledge of steel structures, structural engineering and relevant standards would be an advantage This is a hybrid role which will involve some travel to sites. The core hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 9-5.
