Are you a low code developer specialising in Mendix? This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to join an award-winning DevOps team at a global Financial Services organisation.
This business is undertaking a major digital transformation and you will contribute to the development of new and existing Mendix applications, working directly with various business teams, technology teams, and experts to deliver enterprise-class solutions to internal and external customers.
The DevOps team supports thousands of internal users and external customers through their Mendix (and Salesforce) platform development and has built a wide portfolio of Mendix solutions – from significant digital transformation initiatives to innovative cloud-based mobile apps. With the acceleration of their digital transformation programme and Mendix expansion, you can be assured of a full pipeline of varied, interesting, and stretching work with which to build your skills and experience.
There are opportunities to line manage developers, providing technical leadership in support of complex project delivery. You can also expect to get access to excellent training in the use of the Mendix Automated Testing Suite (ATS), Application Performance Diagnostics (APD), and Application Quality Monitor (AQM) tools.
To be considered you will ideally have 2-3 years experience in software development using the Mendix Low-code platform. You will ideally have skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript technologies and will have the ability to perform analysis, user story capture, and design to drive Mendix development. Experience of working in an agile environment and contributing to sprint planning and providing feedback to retrospectives is also required and any exposure to CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps would be advantageous. Ideally you will be at least Mendix RAD certified. The Advanced certification and any experience of Mendix ATS, Mendix APD and Mendix AQM is also desirable. Alongside your strong Mendix development skills you must also have excellent communications skills, enjoy problem-solving and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
This role offers lots of flexibility to work remotely with occasional visits to the offices in either Wiltshire or Hampshire (South Coast) for training, meetups, and team get-togethers but there is a lot of flexibility here. A fantastic package is on offer with a salary of £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, plus an annual bonus of up to 9%, and a 12% non-contributory pension. Other perks include discounted private medical, life insurance, gadget discounts and subsidised gym.
