We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher for morning sessions and PPA cover in the afternoons. This role is perfect for a qualified teaching professional who is passionate about early childhood education and is looking for a full-time, permanent position starting in September.
Day-to-day of the role: Conduct morning sessions with Nursery pupils aged 3-4 from 9 am to 12 pm, providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of young children.
In the afternoons, provide PPA cover for Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, ensuring continuity of education and care.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum.
Monitor and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents and carers.
Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience in early years education, particularly with Nursery-aged children.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
