Bookkeeper Responsibilities
Undertaking bookkeeping duties for their own portfolio of clients (various industries and sizes).
Managing deadlines related to your client’s work
Reconcile control accounts (bank, purchase ledger, sales ledger, PAYE, wages, VAT etc.)
Timely completion of VAT returns
Prepare reports, letters, and other documents
Prepare management accounts and accompanying information.
Where necessary train and support clients.
Establish a rapport with clients, directors, managers, and staff
Ideal Candidate
At least 2 years’ experience of working in practice as a bookkeeper, relevant industry experience would also be considered
Good IT skills (including MS Word and Excel)
Experience of using Xero, QuickBooks & Sage
