Content Manager

Job Description

A leading investment bank is currently looking to hire a content manager in Birmingham on a contract basis. Up to £350 per day.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and prepare audio and video recordings for digital publication, including trimming content, adding introductory tracks or slides, combining multiple files, and exporting final multimedia assets.
  • Coordinate with analysts and subject matter experts to confirm edits and obtain approvals prior to publication.
  • Publish multimedia content to the organization’s research portal and mobile platforms.
  • Curate published multimedia so it appears across relevant sections, pages, and channels on digital platforms.
  • Assemble and distribute multimedia products such as weekly recaps, highlight reels, and event replays.
  • Coordinate the publication and replay strategy for major events and conferences.
  • Use editorial judgment to prioritize and surface high-profile research and multimedia content on digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with designers to produce visual assets such as infographics, slideshows, promotional materials, and interactive features.
  • Maintain editorial and design asset libraries, including style guides, glossaries, summaries, and other reference materials.
  • Develop and maintain layout templates for commonly used pages, reports, and digital features.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced editorial environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects and drive them through to completion.
  • Experience using multimedia editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Audition, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), with experience in enterprise platforms considered a plus.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is desirable.
  • Knowledge of financial markets or investment research
