About the team:
Our team of talented in-house chefs are trained in diverse cuisines and have impressive experience at restaurants in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Our team produces high-quality breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea service during the work week and also caters for special events like the annual GoodGala. We aim to offer a wide variety of healthy and tasty dishes for our GoodPeople, and we customize our dishes as much as possible to suit the different diets of our GoodPeople.
About the role
This is the role for you, if youre excited to work on the things listed below: Plan menus and cook meals that meet diverse dietary requirements, including those related to religious restrictions.
Manage vendors to source high-quality ingredients that meet dietary requirements and budget.
Keep the kitchen clean and organized, and ensure that food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team and management to develop new dishes that meet diverse dietary and cultural requirements, as well as push our catering offering further with the introduction of breakfast and afternoon tea.
Participate in special events and catering, ensuring that all meals provided meet dietary restrictions, theme and company value and culture
Stay up-to-date with industry trends for culinary innovation
Have a passion for cooking with an interest in different styles of cuisines from across the globe.
The skills you will need to be successful in the above: 3-5 years of experience working as a Sous Chef
Experienced Chef de Partie seeking their next career move, with the salary to be determined based on experience
Experience managing a kitchen end to end (Hygiene, logistics, staff)
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
Fluency in English
Big plus: experience cooking for different dietary restrictions
Experience in Asian cuisine would be a plus
