Experience of Altium Designer, KiCAD, Cadence or similar ECAD Packages
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electronics schematics
Good communication skills face to face, on-line, and through documentation
Practical skills - Prototyping, fault find, bench testing, PCB rework, inspection
Show a flexible approach to work and a motivation to learn and develop
Demonstrable experience working in the development of electro-mechanical machinery with a strong knowledge of electronic control systems and an appreciation of mechanical mechanisms
Understanding & knowledge of the application of electronics to control applications and industrial settings.
Desirable nice to have skills: Mechanical Design & Development – Solidworks or similar
Metrology Experience
Motor types and their control
Product safety and regulatory requirements – EMC, ESD, LVD, CE Marking
