Based in Boston Spa, Wetherby

Trevett Services are working with one of the World’s largest FM providers on a key corporate contract of theirs. Our client is looking to hire a technically sound electrical engineer to work in a prestigious heritage building in Boston Spa, Wetherby.

The Role:

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for covering all electrical maintenance, both PPM and reactive in a major British Heritage building. Being client facing is key as you will be working with the client on a day-to-day basis.

Typical duties include fault-finding, small installations, control panels, power distribution, lamping, ballast changes, emergency lighting testing/maintenance, AHU & FCU maintenance and much more. You will be expected to log all works performed and will have do Permits to Work (PTWs) and review RAMS from sub-contractors.

You will also cover all High Voltage (HV) & Low Voltage (LV) works across the site once you have been trained in both. A lot of the HV & LV work is out of hours so if you like over time this role is for you. The HV/LV PPM is only a small commitment.

Your hours of work will be Mon-Fri 08:00 – 17:00, with a 1 in 7 call out (standby is £120).

Qualifications & Experience:

Our client is seeking someone who has a level 3/apprenticeship equivalent in electrical engineering along with the 18th edition.
