Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
Process business expense returns
Cashbook and petty cash cheques
Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
Journal postings
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
A strong understanding of accounting principles
Good IT skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required
Job Offer
An annual salary of £24,000 - £27,500
