Key Responsibilities:
For the following activities, it is expected that the Warehouse Manager will:-
Manage the accuracy of the stock within the area of control and in line with agreed KPI’s.
Ensure the safe storage of components within the warehouse at all times.
Maintain in a suitable manner returned and empty packaging.
Ensure that materials are supplied to internal customers in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation.
Be aware and manage KPI’s and measures relating to external accreditations.
Ensure manufacturing lines aren’t stopped and build targets are met.
Devise, implement and manage kitting/replenishment systems.
Actively develop warehouse staff to consistently drive performance in all aspects of the department.
Maintain visual management within the department.
Arrange the stock in an optimal manner to maximise pick rates and efficiency.
Calculate headcount requirements in line with pick rate and internal customer demand.
Use SAP system data to action stock transfer to have a manned high pick rate location and low visit warehouse.
Ensure compliance to all health and safety aspects of the warehousing process.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience in high number of SKU’s in a low volume environment.
Efficient pick rate and process implementer.
Strong SAP user.
Experience in implementing SAP and a super-user
Strong leadership background.
High attention to detail.
Innovator and promoter of positive change, continuous improvements and commercial/financial awareness.
Track record in new warehouse layouts and processes.
VDA and IATF procedural background and experience.
Experienced in sequencing and JIT.
Excellent communication skills.
