About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. You will work across application development, automated testing, cloud services, CI/CD, and containerised environments as part of an Agile delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Java and Spring Boot .

Develop and integrate event-driven solutions using Kafka .

Work with MongoDB for data storage and management.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing practices.

Develop automated BDD tests using Gherkin and Cucumber .

Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines .

Work with AWS services to develop and support cloud-based solutions.

Build and manage containerised applications using Docker .

Support application deployment and orchestration using Kubernetes or Amazon ECS .

Contribute to load and performance testing using Gatling or k6 .

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Work collaboratively with developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.

Follow Scrum/Kanban and other Agile delivery practices.

Essential Skills and Experience

Strong commercial experience in Java development .

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot .

Experience working with Kafka .

Experience with MongoDB .
