Job Description

We are partnering with a leading global IT services and transformation business to appoint an experienced Data & AI Architect. This is an opportunity to design and deliver modern data and AI solutions for a major financial services client. You will work across data engineering, cloud platforms, advanced analytics and AI, translating business requirements into scalable, secure and production-ready solutions.The RoleYou will work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders and delivery teams to:Design end-to-end data, analytics and AI solutionsCreate solution architectures, technical designs and implementation roadmapsDevelop architectures across cloud, hybrid and on-premise environmentsSupport data lakes, lakehouse platforms, data warehouses and streaming solutionsDesign AI, machine learning and GenAI solutionsEstablish MLOps and model lifecycle-management approachesEnsure solutions meet security, privacy, governance and regulatory requirementsEvaluate and recommend suitable platforms, tools and technologiesProvide technical leadership throughout development and implementationProduce clear architecture documentation and solution blueprintsCommunicate technical recommendations to senior client stakeholdersYour ExperienceWe are looking for someone with:Strong experience as a Data Architect, AI Architect or Data & AI Solution ArchitectPrevious experience within banking or financial servicesA solid background in software development and data engineeringStrong knowledge of modern data platforms, integration and governanceKnowledge of MLOps and production model deploymentExperience with AWS, Azure or Google CloudA good understanding of security, data privacy, model risk and auditabilityStrong communication and stakeholder-management skillsThe ability to provide technical leadership across business and delivery teamsExperience working with global delivery teams and relevant cloud, data or architecture certifications would be beneficial.The OpportunityYou will join a major global technology organisation delivering complex transformation programmes for some of the UK’s largest businesses.
