Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire

Hybrid, 2 days a week onsite

£75k plus 8% bonus, 10% pension, private healthcare

We're recruiting for a Senior Python Engineer to join a global AI & SaaS specialist.

This is an opportunity to work on complex platform engineering challenges where your work will revolutionise the speed and accuracy of production quality code.

You'll be joining a long‑term project where your work will genuinely make a difference from day one. What You'll Be Doing | Summary of Skills

Building automation frameworks and tooling using Python
Developing Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform
Creating reusable templates and code generation platforms using Jinja/Jinja2
Automating Windows environments through PowerShell
Managing and improving configuration management with Puppet
Building CI/CD integration's for infrastructure delivery
Working closely with cloud, platform and engineering teams to improve automation and operational efficiency
Driving infrastructure standardisation, reliability and scalability across complex environments

Essential

5+ years commercial experience with Python
Experience with Terraform and IaC
Knowledge of buisling CI/CD pipelines. If you love to tackle complex challenges, work in a forward thinking team and build solutions leveraging leading edge AI
