Direct examples of these areas are 'Project Greensand', our pioneering carbon storage project in the Danish North Sea and our investment in HydrogenOne Capital.INEOS Energy is the owner of several interests in in the UK North Sea, with production from INEOS-operated Breagh and Clipper South. UK operations are managed directly by in house support and offshore crew members.We are looking for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to form an integral part of the operations team supporting operated assets both on and offshore. The role will report into Operations Asset Manager - Pegasus.RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIESPromote, through ownership and participation, the INEOS 20 principles and auditing in all aspects of production and operationsEnsure compliance with the relevant control, systems and cyber related INEOS Group Guidance Notes (IGGNs) and industry standards & regulationsResponsible for the design, configuration, testing, installation and commissioning of DCS / SCADA/ PLC and SIS systemsProvide support and troubleshooting for DCS / SCADA / PLC and SIS systemsProvide support and troubleshooting for telecoms equipment pertaining to the OT networkResponsible for the production and modifications of control systems documentation pertaining to the life cycle of the systemsDeliver control system modifications in both technical compliance and qualityExecute both onshore and offshore control systems operations and projectsImplement, maintain and monitor Operational Technology cyber security in-line with INEOS Group Guidance Notes (IGGNs) and industry standards & regulationsSupplementary duties as required to support other assets and the wider INEOS EnergySKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONDegree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering disciplineStrong working knowledge and experience of industrial control and telecoms systemsPrevious experience in a control systems engineering role within the oil & gas industryRelevant experience in configuration, implementation, support and modification including Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)Preferred experience:Honeywell Experion PKSSchneider Electric TriconexIndustrial Networks (Ethernet, Modbus, OPC)Windows OS, security and networkingOperational Technology cyber securityBEHAVIOURAL SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESResults orientated, conscientious with a strong work ethicExcellent communication skills both written and verbalSolutions focused with the ability to implement improvements and efficiencies where appropriateSafety-first approach in all areas of workThis role is based onsite at our Norwich office predominantly. Travel to offshore assets and the London offices will be required.
