Technical Sales EngineerSouth HampshireCompetitive Salary + Bonus & BenefitsPermanent | Monday – FridayWe're recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer to join an established organisation within the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) sector.This is a predominantly inbound, solution-led sales role, working closely with customers and specialist engineering teams to understand product testing requirements and develop appropriate technical and commercial solutions.The opportunity could suit either an experienced technical sales professional from a testing or engineering environment, or a Test Engineer looking to move into a more commercial, customer-facing role.The RoleManage inbound customer enquiries and sales opportunitiesUnderstand product testing and qualification requirementsPrepare technical quotations and commercial proposalsWork closely with engineering and laboratory teamsDevelop relationships with new and existing customersFollow up warm leads and support larger commercial opportunitiesManage opportunities through CRMWhat We're Looking ForEngineering or technical backgroundExperience within laboratory-based product testing or product qualificationExperience across areas such as EMC, environmental, vibration, shock or related testingStrong technical aptitude with good customer-facing skillsCommercial experience is advantageous but not essential for technically strong candidatesExperience within Defence or Aerospace would be particularly beneficial, with Marine, Rail and Automotive backgrounds also consideredFull UK driving licenceEligibility to obtain UK Security ClearanceThis is an excellent opportunity to combine technical knowledge with customer interaction and commercial responsibility, with ongoing training and development available.Interested?
