Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for excellent earning potential, long-term job security and the opportunity to work within a heavily invested engineering environment?
This is a rare opportunity to join a large, globally recognised manufacturing business in Exeter during an exciting period of continued investment and increasing production.
The site operates a diverse range of heavy industrial, electrical and automated machinery, supported by a sizeable and highly experienced engineering team. Continued investment in equipment, production capacity and people means they are looking to strengthen the maintenance function with Mechanical, Electrical and Multi-Skilled Engineers.
Retention within the engineering team is excellent, with engineers benefiting from strong salaries, funded development, progression opportunities and one of the strongest benefits packages in the local engineering market.
Mechanical Engineers can be supported through electrical qualifications to develop towards multi-skilled capability, while further technical qualifications including HNCs can also be funded.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide variety of heavy industrial and automated production equipment.
Electrical fault finding across three-phase systems, motors, drives/inverters, control panels, sensors, relays, contactors and PLC-controlled machinery.
Mechanical maintenance and fault finding across hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors and associated production equipment.
Working on specialist equipment including vacuum and induction furnaces, robotics, automated material-handling systems, autoclaves and CNC machinery.
Diagnosing faults logically and working to minimise production downtime.
Completing planned preventative maintenance within a well-established maintenance culture.
Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning as continued investment is made across the site.
