Bid and Project Coordinator

This role will be hybrid working with the requirement to be based in either our Manchester or Birmingham (based on your location) office a minimum of 3 days a week.

As Bid and Project Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting work winning and delivery projects. You will have a ‘can do attitude’, enjoy working with several stakeholders and thrive in a challenging and fast paced environment where working under pressure and flexing to meet deadlines is the norm. This role will require strong people management and excellent organisation and communication skills, with an ability to work under your own initiative and go the extra mile when needed.
On bids, you will support the Bid Lead/Manager and be responsible for supporting internal and client bid teams to progress and submit high quality, compliant and timely bid submissions, working in line with agreed bid processes and programme deadlines. You may be required to coordinate several, concurrent bids, occasionally writing, reviewing and editing parts of bid submissions as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent work based training) in Business, Project Management or a related field preferable
Proven experience in bid and project coordination roles (preferably in public procurement and the built environment) across a range of projects, including large scale schemes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills required to manage multiple bids/projects simultaneously, keeping track of deadlines and documentation
Attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of bid/project documentation and
submissions
Team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams
Able to problem solve and identify and address potential challenges before they impact
performance
Adaptable and flexible in responding to changing requirements or client expectations
Highly computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Office applications, with a preferred knowledge of Monday.com
