Role : Operations Manager (Hard FM)

Location: Dale Barracks, Chester, covering 6 additional sites within a 30-mile radius

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £38,000 £42,000

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager (Hard FM) to be based at Dale Barracks in Chester, responsible for overseeing the effective, compliant and timely delivery of maintenance and response works across a multi-site portfolio.

As Operations Manager, you will ensure all works are delivered in accordance with statutory legislation, MOD Mandatory requirements, and relevant Health & Safety and Environmental standards.

You will play a key role in coordinating operational teams and contractors, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities Oversee the effective and timely delivery of planned, reactive and response maintenance works.

Ensure all works comply with statutory legislation, mandatory requirements, Health & Safety and Environmental standards.

Allocate suitably qualified and experienced operatives to relevant tasks.

Ensure operatives have the correct equipment and resources to safely complete their work.

Monitor supply chain and subcontractor performance to ensure agreed KPIs are achieved.

Review Risk Assessments and ensure appropriate controls are in place.

Ensure all completed and ongoing tasks are accurately recorded against assets within the CAFM system.

Monitor progress of works and ensure all relevant documentation is completed and maintained.

Ensure compliance with Legionella and Asbestos management plans.

Take on Responsible Person duties where required.

Carry out inspections and audits to maintain high standards of compliance and service delivery.

Project manage a variety of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) tasks from inception through to completion.

Work closely with operational teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery across multiple sites.
