Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide valuable support to our teachers and contribute to the overall success of our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with classroom activities, providing one-to-one support, and helping to create a positive and enriching learning environment for our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students.
Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour, mutual respect, and active participation.
Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials, resources, and displays to enhance the learning experience.
Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers to support ongoing learning and development.
Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within a primary school environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Dedication to upholding high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
