Security Systems Engineer – Northamptonshire- £42,000- £46,000 Per Annum

* £42,000–£46,000 basic salary (depending on experience).

* Full-time, permanent position.

* 40-hour working week.

* Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm.

* Optional weekend overtime available.

* On-call paid door-to-door if called out.

* Company van and fuel card provided.

* Mobile phone and uniform supplied.

Security Systems Engineer Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join a well established company based in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable business covering mainly commercial installations across Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, and Bedfordshire.

Security Systems Engineer Role & Responsibilities:

As a Security Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

* Installation, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning of electronic security systems.

* Reactive maintenance and repairs on customer sites.

* Working with Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems.

* Covering mainly Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, and Bedfordshire, with occasional travel further afield when required.

* Participating in a rotational on-call schedule, with minimal call outs (most issues are resolved remotely).

* Approximately 80% of your work will be commercial, with the remaining 20% in domestic/residential properties.

Security Systems Engineer Skills and Experience Required:

* Experience installing and servicing Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems.

* Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills.

* A full UK driving licence.

* A reliable, customer-focused engineer who enjoys working independently.
