Role: Windchill Developer

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months (+ possible extension)

Location: 2-3 days onsite in Stevenage OR Bolton OR Bristol

Language: English

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Windchill Developer to join our PLM team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with PTC Windchill, including customization, configuration, and integration with enterprise systems. This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to support and enhance PLM capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize Windchill PDMLink modules (Change Management, Document Management, BOM Management, etc.)
• Develop and maintain Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, and business rules
• Integrate Windchill with ERP and other enterprise systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windchill performance, access, and data integrity
• Collaborate with business analysts and end‑users to gather requirements and deliver solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Windchill development and support
• Strong knowledge of Windchill modules and architecture
• Proficiency in Java, JSP, XML, and Windchill APIs
• Experience with Windchill Business Rules Framework (BRF) and Info*Engine
• Good understanding of PLM concepts and product lifecycle processes
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Candidate must be a UK National due to the nature of the customer environment and security requirements.
• Candidates who have previously held Security Check (SC) Clearance or are eligible to obtain SC Clearance will be preferred.
