Sales Administrator

Location: Office-based in Milton Park

Salary: £28k-£30k

Hours: 9am-5pm

We are looking for an organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join a busy team and provide day-to-day support to the sales function, customers and suppliers.

This is a varied role where you'll help keep orders moving, deal with customer and supplier queries, arrange deliveries and provide general administrative support.

The Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

Providing administrative support to the sales team

Processing and managing purchase orders

Dealing with customer and supplier queries

Monitoring orders and deliveries

Arranging and tracking incoming and outgoing shipments

Processing returns and RMAs

Managing the sales inbox and incoming calls

Keeping systems and records up to date

Carrying out credit checks and liaising with finance

Assisting with reports and general office administration

Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc tasks

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Organised and able to manage multiple tasks

Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues

Accurate and has good attention to detail

Proactive, positive and reliable

Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general IT systems

Able to work well as part of a team

Customer-focused and willing to take ownership of problems

Previous experience in Sales Administration, Sales Support, Customer Service, Administration or a similar commercial role would be beneficial.

Experience with purchase orders, returns, deliveries or CRM/business management systems is also useful, but training can be provided for the right person.
