Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09.00 - 17.30hrs (37.5hrs per week)
Hybrid working: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office. Tuesday and Friday working from home

SQL Server Database Developer - The Role:
You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and implementing SQL Server database solutions that underpin our business-critical applications. Working closely with developers and stakeholders across the organisation, you will help shape how data is captured, managed and utilised.
This role offers the unique opportunity to lead the development of a strategic system from the ground up, influencing its architecture, functionality and long-term direction. You will work directly with on-premise SQL Server Always On environments using T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio, with no reliance on SSIS, ETL or data pipeline tooling.
SQL Server Database Developer - Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and optimise Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, functions and other database objects
- Design and maintain relational database structures that support business applications and integrations
- Investigate and resolve database, application and data-related issues in production environments
- Optimise database performance, reliability and scalability using appropriate tuning techniques
