Part Time Accountant - About The Role
In this role you will be working within a finance team of 3 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be a key player in the daily running of the finance function and the ideal candidate will be available at short notice.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Support with the preparation and production of the monthly management accounts
Processing journals and completing balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure accurate reporting, preparation and payment of quarterly VAT
Monitor bank accounts to ensure positive cash-flow and regularly report and analyse on company’s financial status
Reconcile bank accounts including credit card and petty cash
Overseeing the transactional accounting function and ensuring that all purchase and sales invoices are processed accurately
Managing the credit control function and producing debtor reports
Liasing with the external accountants to deliver year-end accounts
Instructing the outsourced payroll provider for the monthly payroll
The successful Part Time Accountant will have:
Previous experience in a similar position
Experience i working within an SME
QBE/part qualified candidates will be considered
Strong attention to detail
