Document Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller to join one of our well-established clients in Luton.

Our client is a leading UK-based contractor delivering large-scale construction projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team working on the landmark Power Court Stadium Development.

Project Location: Power Court, Luton, UK
Site hours: 07:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain project drawings, documents, and technical submissions.
• Ensure all document revisions and updates are accurately recorded and distributed.
• Archive superseded documentation and maintain clear project records.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the site team.
• Manage site logins, access permissions, and timesheet records.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders regarding project documentation.
• Support reporting requirements and document retrieval requests.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, health & safety, and environmental procedures.
• Undertake additional administration duties to support the successful delivery of the project.

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Document Controller or Project Administrator within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of document control processes and procedures.
• Experience using document management system, Fieldview experience desirable.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Professional and proactive approach to work.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Previous experience on commercial, RC Frame, residential, or mixed-use developments.
• Familiarity with drawing registers, technical submissions, and project quality documentation.
• Experience coordinating project meetings and maintaining project records.
• Strong administrative background supporting site-based construction teams.
